There’s a hint of chill in the air, darkness in the evening sky, and the leaves are beginning to flush with orange. However, what’s really given away that fall is near is my Instagram feed which has begun to flood with pumpkin-flavored foods and gushing captions. Can I just say, THANK GOODNESS!

I’m so ready for bundling up in sweaters, running under fiery foliage as the cool air blows on my face, and eating alllllll the squash (PSA- delicata is back at Trader Joe’s!).

Back in the day, when I first got into Pinterest, my obsession with shabby chic began. Lace, pastels, fancy paper straws you don’t need; I fawned over them all. I even went as far as to throw a shabby chic themed birthday party complete with macaroons, lemon squares, and mini chicken and arugula pesto sandwiches. I was in seventh grade. Clearly, I was always a blogger at heart.

To me, fall holds that same shabby chic spirit. Stained wood barns, mason jars, fall harvest. This is why absolutely adore the season. With fall harvest comes trips to the farm for apple picking, hayrides, pumpkin patches, and other fun. Add some flare to your wardrobe this season by bringing a little farm to your fashion.Blackberry Patch Apple Salsa

I go apple picking at this orchard every year and it’s a tradition to pick something fun up from the store there. When I saw this apple salsa, I knew I had to get it! I’m thinking it’ll pair absolutely perfectly with some sweet potato tortilla chips. There were also other flavors like blackberry, peach, and raspberry, I was tempted to get them all!

I’m so excited to say that I have two amazing recipes coming your way. A Carrot Cake Oat French Toast Bake and Chocolate Drizzled Salted Caramel Thumbprint cookies. Both are dairy, gluten, soy, and refined sugar free and absolutely delicious.

Enjoy the moment,

xoxo Meah <3
