Haunted HIIT and Strength Workout

Haunted HIIT and Strength Workout

Hello my spooky strong friends 😉 ! I’m back with a killer Halloween-themed workout that’ll get you in the holiday spirit and work up a sweat at the same time.

This Haunted HIIT and Strength Workout comes in at UNDER 30 minutes, add in a 5-10 warm-up and cool-down and you’re right around 45 minutes. Yet, it’s still super effective because you’re working multiple parts of the body at once and performing the moves with minimal rest, so your heart rate stays up and your muscles stay engaged.

Workouts like this are perfect for busy days when you’ve got piles of homework, are busy with the kids, or are on the go. There are far too many Halloween movies to be watched and treats to be eaten to spend hours working out, am I right 😉 ?

Print out this graphic or the printer friendly version to take to the gym or workout at home; and scroll down to see pictures and instructions for each of the moves.

Halloween’s always been one of my favorite holidays because it signifies fall. I don’t know about where you are, but the leaves in my area have just begun to turn a fiery shade and every time I drive past, I find my breath taken away. It’s these moments of awe that make life so glorious, so soak them up!

My days of trick-or-treating have passed and this Halloween I’m looking forward to a cozy night in watching my favorite movies like Hocus Pocus, Halloween Town, etc., and doing some baking. It’s funny thinking about trick-or-treating as a kid. I remember how in elementary school, as soon as September rolled around, what your Halloween costume was going to be was all anyone talked about. Of course, I never knew what I was going to be until I walked out the door on Halloween night.

Picking out a costume went a little something like this: reach into the costume chest, pull out anything that suited your fancy, and throw it on. Okay, so you’re a Cowgirl Hula Dancer Jedi Detective. Cool. A Grim Reaper Princess Teen Idol? Why not?

Anyway, I challenge you to blast some Monster Mash and try this incredible workout out! It’s a total sweat fest and the Halloween-themed moves keep things interesting.

Let Me Know…

What was your best Halloween costume?

What is your favorite Halloween movie?

What is your favorite Halloween song?
