Warm, creamy white chocolate wonder that boasts a protein boost. This is the perfect decadent drink to keep you cozy all winter long!
Hello thick, creamy, dreamy drink. You’re lookin’ good 😉 .
I’m allll about decadent treats. Brownies, cookies, cakes. Gimmie, gimmie, GIMMIE! But, when those treats can pack in some nutrition too — YES. PLEASE. Talk about a win-win!
I’ve got the secret to a rich drink that checks both boxes (delicious AND nutritious).
Adding Ka’Chava Tribe Protein Powder (or another vegan protein)! Starbucks doesn’t stand a chance against this 😉 .
There are tons of amazing vegan hot cocoa recipes out there, but it’s so hard to find anything dairy-free and white chocolate. I’ve got you covered here!
Creamy Vegan Protein Peppermint White Hot Chocolate
- 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
- 1 TBSP coconut sugar
- 1/2-1 TBSP coconut butter (depending on desired richness)
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp peppermint extract
- A pinch of salt
- 2 TBSP Vanilla Ka’Chava Tribe Protein Powder (you may sub another vegan, vanilla protein)
- (optional) Dark Chocolate shavings to top
In a small pot, warm the almond milk over medium heat*. Next, add in the vanilla extract, peppermint extract, and salt. Mix over the heat to combine. Add in coconut butter and stir it in so it melts. Finally, add in the vanilla protein powder and stir it well until all there are no clumps and the mix is smooth and creamy.
You can this comforting drink all winter long. I find it’s the perfect post-run treat since I’m looking for something to warm me up, but want protein for muscle recovery.
Skip the cost of the coffee shop! Mix this recipe up by adding in some coffee and you’ll have your own gourmet, flavorful start to the morning without the cost or sugar shock.
Christmas is the corner, so here’s wishing you all the happiest of holidays. I hope yours are filled with family, friends, and many cookies 😉 !
Enjoy the moment,
xoxo Meah <3
